Automotive Management Live will be bigger and better in 2019

Automotive Management Live Back

Automotive Management Live, the sector’s dedicated annual trade expo, is expected to attract even more visitors this year.

Now in its fourth year, AML had 50 exhibitors and 15 sponsors confirmed five months ahead of the event which takes place at Birmingham NEC on 7th November 2019.

Last year almost 800 visitors from some of the UK’s leading franchised dealer groups (figures independently audited by BPA) attended the show where 79 exhibitors and sponsors showcased their company, products and services.

Six out of ten show-goers were decision-makers or key influencers (figures: visitor survey) with a fifth (20%) being the chairperson, managing director, chief executive or business owner. More than a third (35%) of attendees held dealer principal, general manager or directors positions at their company whilst almost a quarter (24%) headed up their department.

Once again hosted in partnership with the National Franchised Dealers Association, the show incorporates specialist masterclass sessions ran by some of the industry’s leading suppliers whilst theatre sessions will see expert speakers take to the stage.

The exhibition hall will again be home to a vast number of industry suppliers providing insights into new and popular products and services all geared to operating a modern automotive retail business smoothly, efficiently and cost-effectively.

AM’s insight theatres will put people and F&I under the spotlight. The IMI People theatre will help automotive professionals identify ways to attract and retain high calibre employees. Following last year’s success, the Future Dealerships Zone returns and will feature new and emerging technology that is likely to become commonplace in the automotive retail space in the next decade.

With the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) review of motor finance, AML’s Finance theatre, is back after last year’s absence to provide attendees with latest insights from inspiring keynote speakers. Three experts from the field of motor finance will share their views on the latest FCA updates as well as finance trends in detail, to assist dealers in ensuring they remain compliant while retaining a valuable revenue stream and customer retention tool.

Commented AM editor Tim Rose: “Automotive Management Live has become well and truly established on the industry calendar in just four years with leading suppliers booking a year in advance and new companies also taking space.

The number of visitors has risen every year since we launched in 2016 and this year we are expecting to exceed 1,000 as the event is recognised as the must-attend expo of the year. We continue to gain insights and feedback from high profile industry sector colleagues whose input has once again helped us to shape what will be a dynamic show packed with valuable information which will help retailers plan for the future.”

Automotive Management Live is free for independent and franchised retailers and manufacturers.
